1 Killed in Road Rage Shooting Off Palmetto Expressway: FHP

Authorities responded to a fatal road rage shooting off the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade Friday morning.

The shooting was reported on the southbound Palmetto ramp to Northwest 25th Street.

Footage showed the body covered in yellow tarp at the scene. Officials haven’t identified the person who was killed.

Miami-Dade Police officers and Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded and had the southbound exit ramp at Northwest 25th Street closed while they investigated.

FHP officials said the shooting was the result of a road rage incident. No other details were immediately known.
