A 100-gallon fuel spill has shut down the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike at Southwest 152nd Street, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

Cleanup likely will keep the lanes closed until around 4 p.m. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Lt. Felipe Lay said.

Lay said the fuel tanker driver scraped some discharge pipes as he rolled up the turnpike, causing the diesel fuel to spill onto the road. There were no injuries or other cars involved.
