Authorities in Oakland Park are searching for a man who stole a $800 statue of a dog from a local antique shop.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office released surveillance footage of the suspect, who was seen driving a dark Ford Ranger with chrome rails to the Decorative Arts & Fine Antiques store at 3263 N. Dixie Highway on June 10. The suspect hit the same store just a few days later, stealing a $600 statue of a lion and a 5-foot wall planter on June 12.

Authorities believe the suspect is involved with similar burglaries that have occurred on North Dixie Highway in the past couple of weeks. He weighs 180 pounds and is 5-foot-8-inches tall.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS or online at browardcrimestoppers.org. Any tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for an award of up to $3,000.
