A professional baseball player with roots in Palm Beach County gave his parents a heartwarming gift on Christmas – and the emotional moment is making the rounds on social media.

Pavin Smith, 21, paid off the mortgage of his parents’ Jupiter home, according to WPTV. Smith is a Palm Beach Gardens Community High School graduate and was also a first round draft pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Smith caught the heartfelt moment on camera and posted the video of his parents’ reactions on Twitter. So far, it has been viewed more than 680,000 times.

In the video, Smith’s mom tears up while reading the letter from Smith, leaving both parents overwhelmed with emotion.

“Thank you for everything you have done for me!” Smith wrote on Twitter. “This doesn’t make up for any of it. Love you both so much. Our home is finally all YOURS. Merry Christmas!”
