Police responded to reports of a man trespassing on the campus of a Pompano Beach high school Thursday afternoon with unconfirmed reports of him having a possible weapon.

Officers swarmed Blanche Ely High School on Northwest 6th Avenue after Broward Sheriff’s Office officials say deputies got a call of a man trespassing on school grounds.

Footage showed SWAT team members walking through the school’s parking lot with weapons drawn.

BSO has said that no weapon has been found and deputies are searching for that man, while the school has been placed on lockdown.
