Burglar Smashed Though Door at Davie Sprint Store: Police

Police in Davie are looking for a burglar who used a piece of asphalt to smash his way into a Sprint store to steal wireless speaker systems.

The burglary happened back on Oct. 1 at the store at 2631 S. University Drive and was captured on surveillance cameras, Davie Police said.

The suspect used the asphalt to smash the glass out of the front door. Police said all of the expensive phones were locked in a safe but the thief was still able to get the speaker systems.
