Police officers found a 7-foot boa constrictor slithering through Pembroke Pines.
The massive snake was found in the area of Northwest 184th Avenue and Northwest 17th Street, the department said in a Wednesday tweet.
“These invasive snakes were introduced to South Florida by irresponsible pet owners – an action which is both illegal & inhumane. Luckily, this snake will be safely rehomed by a trapper,” the tweet read.
