Disturbance Near Bahamas Could Bring Wet Weather to South Florida

A disturbance that was moving near the northwestern Bahamas could bring some scattered showers and storms to South Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center.

In a special tropical weather outlook released Wednesday, the NHC said there’s a 0 percent chance the system develops in the next 48 hours and a 20 percent chance of development in the next five days.

The disturbance is expected to turn northeastward and move over the western Atlantic, the NHC said.
