Police in Pembroke Pines arrested the driver of a car that plowed into a home early Wednesday morning.
Rescue crews arrived at the house near Southwest 70th Avenue and 6th Street shortly before 2:30 a.m., where a black Mercedes Benz had struck the home. Police officials say the car appears to have lost control and struck a wall, coming to a stop inside the home’s living room.
No one inside the home was hurt, while the driver sustained no injuries – but the car’s passenger was taken to the hospital after suffering minor injuries.
Investigators say the vehicle was the same the fled from a traffic stop earlier in the morning off Pembroke Road and arrested the driver, 29-year-old Bradford Crayton. No charges are pending against the passenger, whose condition was not released.
