First Cold Snap of Season Pushing Toward South Florida

As the week starts off with warmer temperatures, the first cold front of the season is moving closer to South Florida.

The cooler weather is expected to push into the area on Wednesday, and possibly bringing along a morning storm. Wednesday afternoon will be drier and cooler, with much less humidity.

Temperatures may dip into the low 50s on Thursday just before pushing back up into the 80s leading into the weekend.

South Florida temps are well above average as Miami broke a record warm low with 81 degrees on Monday morning. Nearby, Fort Lauderdale tied its record low with 80 degrees.
