In the aftermath of Irma in South Florida, there could be more sightings of scaly residents of overflowed rivers and canals — roaming the roads.

One alligator was spotted strolling near floodwaters in Weston Monday as homeowners began post-Irma cleanup efforts.

A crocodile was also seen hanging out on a rock at Dinner Key marina in Miami one day after Irma swamped the penisula.
