HAITIAN VOICES: Impact of Haitian Writers in Literature

Miami is considered the unofficial crossroads of the Caribbean, and this year’s Miami Book Fair International has focused on this by establishing ReadCaribbean — a program featuring many Caribbean-specific events including readings by authors, book signings and more. Well known Haitian-American authors Edwidge Danticat and Michele Jessica Fievre join us to discuss this year’s event and the influence of Caribbean writers in Literature.
