Here’s what a newsroom looks like covering Hurricane Irma

With Hurricane Irma approaching Florida, the staff of the Miami Herald and el Nuevo Herald deployed before it made landfall in the U.S. at various locations from Key West to Tallahassee.

But many moved into the secured newsroom in Doral, working long shifts, sleeping on air mattresses, updating and around the clock.
