ISSUES: 2 of 2 Florida’s ‘Favorite Sons’ – Jeb vs. Rubio

At Miami-Dade College on Monday, Jeb Bush finally confirmed months of speculation and anticipation by announcing his candidacy for president in 2016. The former two-term Florida Governor joins 11 confirmed Republican candidates including another Floridian, who also happens to be Bush’s political protégé, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio. This leaves members of the state’s GOP divided which is evident in a new Quinnipiac Poll showing Bush leading with 20 percent of Republican voters support and Rubio, in a close second with 18 percent. Which one of Florida’s ‘favorite sons’ will make it to the primary?
