ISSUES: High-Speed Rail in Florida

All Aboard Florida is on the cusp of being the first private rail line in the U.S. in 30 years. If approved, this multi-billion dollar project will connect Miami to Orlando with stations in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. This proposal is not without its obstacles. A committee has been organized to review some concerns from residents and officials, as Governor Rick Scott calls for sensitivity to these hesitations.
