ISSUES: Soccer Stadium & Gentrification

After nearly two years of negotiations and three failed proposed sites across Miami, David Beckham and his partners announced last week that they have finally found the real estate to build a 30,000 seat soccer stadium on a nine-acre lot in Overtown. Situated near the Miami River, the area is a combination of county and private land that sits within City of Miami limits. Will this be a boon for the impoverished area?
