A wildfire in Florida continues to burn and is largely uncontained, and is forcing thousands of people to evacuate their homes.

According to NBC affiliate, First Coast News, the fire started in Baker County, which is an hour outside of Jacksonville. It’s believed to have been started by lightning. So far, it’s burned more than 118,000 acres. Only 12 percent of the blaze is contained, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Thousands of people are now being evacuated from their homes due to the fire.  The entire town of St. Georgie in Georgia has also been evacuated.

More than 500 rescue crews are currently battling the blaze.
