Man, 5-Year-Old Injured in Lauderhill Shooting

A man and a 5-year-old are in serious condition after a shooting Wednesday in Lauderhill, fire rescue officials said.

Officials reponded before 7 p.m. to the 3100 block of NW 19th Street, according to Lauderhill police.

The shooting happened after the male victim and the shooter got into an altercation, police said. The child was nearby. Police aren’t sure of the relationship between the child and the adult victim.

The victims were taken to Broward Health, fire officials said.

The suspect is at large, police said.
