Man Arrested For Allegedly Exposing Himself to Teen Girl

Police arrested a 32-year-old Southwest Miami-Dade man after they say he allegedly exposed his privates to a teen girl after giving her a ride to a local tennis court.

Jonathan Echeverri was arrested Saturday and charged with one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition to a child under 18 years of age. He was given a $7,500 bond on the charge, but remains in jail for violation of bond on a felony charge of stolen property from this summer.

According to the arrest report, Echeverri approached the 15-year-old victim Saturday morning when she was walking south on SW 152nd Avenue, telling her he was a tennis coach and asking if she needed a ride. The teen got in and Echeverri drove her to the Courts of Kendall near SW 80th Street and 154th Avenue.

Once there, the victim says Echeverri asked if she needed a ride home before exposing and playing with himself. The teen got out of the car and Echeverri drove off, eventually being found in a parking lot near SW 152nd Street and 73rd Avenue where the victim identified him and Echeverri admitted to the crime.

Echeverri had been out on bond from a July incident in which he was arrested for driving with a stolen license plate and driving with a suspended license after being caught by police in Miami Beach.
