Man Killed After Car Crashes Into NW Miami-Dade Canal

One person was killed after a car crashed into a canal in Northwest Miami-Dade early Wednesday morning.

Rescue crews arrived at the scene near Northwest 127th Avenue and 25th Street shortly before 6 a.m., where a Toyota Camry went into the body of water.

Divers rescued one man, who was the only person inside the car according to investigators, and rushed him to Kendall Regional Medical Center where he later died.

Officials have not released the identity of the driver or any possible information on the crash.
