Crews rescued a man who was trapped for several hours inside his car that crashed in Northwest Miami-Dade.

Chopper 6 was over the scene of the Palmetto Expressway northbound just after NW 58th Street, where the black vehicle could be seen crashed in express lanes that are not yet open.

Rescue crews were able to get the man out through the back passenger side window after it was broken by a first responder.

Reports say the man was traveling the wrong way when he crashed, but that has not been confirmed by officials.
