Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera stealing $9,000 worth of hurricane shutters from a Hollywood home over the course of two days.
The theft happened at a home in the 1300 block of North 40th Avenue on March 21 and 22, police said.
Surveillance footage caught the suspect taking the shutters, which were piled up outside the home, and loading them into a truck. He returned the next day and took the rest of the shutters.
The suspect was described as a black male, about 5-foot9- to 6-foot-0, with a slender build. He was driving what’s believed to be a white Chevy S-10 with a dark colored tailgate.
Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
