“El Clasico Miami” just got even bigger when it was announced Wednesday that Grammy and Latin Grammy winner Marc Anthony would perform at half time.
Six in the Mix host Roxanne Vargas attended the press conference held at the Perez Art Museum Miami and caught up with the star singer.
IHeart media’s Enrique Santos of Tu 94.9 FM welcomed Jorge Perez on stage, who made the mega announcement that Anthony would perform during halftime of El Clasico Miami when FC Barcelona takes on Real Madrid CF.
The singer said he’s excited to share his music with the world.
Even though he’s done this for years, Marc told NBC 6 he’s nervous and will be nervous even two minutes to show time.
Roxy: “Did you ever thing you’d get “a first” at this point in your career?” “No, not many even get a chance. So, to have this,”Anthony said.
Roxy asked Anthony about sharing the stage with those who he’s collaborated with like Gente de Zona or Jennifer Lopez but he said he only gets seven minutes and is still working on his set.
El Clasico Miami is set for July 29.
