The Miami Beach Police Department has issued a missing child alert for an 11-year-old boy.

The MBPD issued the alert for Jafet Pineda, who is Hispanic and possibly in danger. He has been missing since Monday and was last seen on the 300 block of Lincoln Road outside of a CVS pharmacy at about 1 p.m.

“While walking with family members, the juvenile became distracted and walked away from his relatives, possibly eastbound towards the beach,” the MBPD said in a statement.

Jafet was last seen wearing a black tank top along with white and blue swim trunks. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes with a height estimated from four feet to four feet-five inches and weighing from 60 pounds to 70 pounds.
