NAMI Miami-Dade’s Reel Minds Film Festival

Nearly 44 million adults experience mental illness each year in the United States – yet the stigma attached to those affected makes it even that much more difficult for them to get the help they need. That’s why for a second year, Miami-Dade’s National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Miami-Dade) will hold its Reel Minds Miami Mental Health Film Festival at the University of Miami this Saturday — showcasing films by and about those impacted by mental illness – to stop the stigma and start the conversation.

Guests:
Susan Racher, NAMI of Miami-Dade
Gabriel Rhenals, Filmmaker, “Semester of Madness”
