One dead, two injured after early morning shooting in northwest Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade police are investigating a shooting that ended with one man dead and two others injured early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened in northwest Miami-Dade at about 7:30 a.m., according to police spokesman, Det. Argemis Colome. Police found one victim dead on the scene, at the Silver Blue Lake apartment complex, and another victim wounded.

Officers later found another victim less than a mile away, at 1447 NW 101st St., also suffering from gunshot wounds.

The surviving victims were both taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Police haven’t released any information on the suspects or a potential motive.
