A person was shot to death early Thursday outside of a house in Miami Gardens, according to reports.

A yellow tarp covered a body in front of a couple’s home on Northwest 22nd Avenue and 152nd Terrace, Miami Herald news partner CBS4 reported.

Witnesses told the station that they saw a white Ford truck in the area and heard screeching tires. Neighbors said a man was being chased, and then they heard gunfire. The shooting happened around 2 a.m.
