A small plane that took off from Opa-Locka, Fla. crashed just off the coast of New Providence in the Bahamas Friday, according to the United States Coast Guard.

At least two people were on board the DC3 cargo plane at the time of the crash, the Coast Guard said. The victims were rescued by the Royal Bahamian Defense Force.

The severity of the victims’ injuries is currently unknown. No deaths were reported.
