Police Impersonator Steals SUV in Miami-Dade

Police are looking for a man who impersonated a cop so he could steal an SUV in Miami-Dade in an incident that was caught on camera.

The incident happened back on Dec. 29 in front of a market on Northwest 32nd Avenue, Miami-Dade Police said Thursday.

According to police, the suspect approached a man who was a passenger in the SUV, told him he was a police officer, and demanded that he get out of the car.

When the victim complied, the suspect got into the 2004 Ford Escape and drove away.
