A group of protestors, many clad in orange and with arms linked, crying “Abolish ICE,” have taken to the streets outside Miramar’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office.

The crowd has blocked the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and 145th Avenue forcing cars to make U-turns, according to a WPLG Local 10 report.

Large blankets, some marked with the words “ICE Out” and emblazoned with a red directional arrow, cover the roadway.

Those who have gathered say they are protesting the inhumane treatment of immigrant families and want ICE out of their city, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS4.

This story is developing and will be updated as information becomes available.
