Repo Man Dodges Bullets After Car Owner Opens Fire in Southwest Ranches

A repo man had to dodge bullets after the owner of a car that was being repossessed opened fire early Thursday in Southwest Ranches, police said.

No one was injured in the incident that happened near the area south of Griffin Road and east of U.S. 27, Davie Police said.

According to police, the driver of the tow truck was repossessing a Mercedes Benz when he got into an altercation with the owner of the Mercedes. The car owner fired several shots, hitting the two truck multiple times and just missing the driver. The shooting left the truck’s rear window shattered.

Police said no one was in custody and the incident remains under investigation.
