Police are on the hunt for a man allegedly responsible for abducting a woman in Allapattah.

According to police, they responded to an abduction call that began at the 1700 block of Northwest 31st Street.

Police said a mother called police after the boyfriend of her daughter showed up at her home and took her against her will.

The investigation revealed that the boyfriend lived in a trailer park in Miramar. Police arrived at that location and found the victim there. She was not injured.

Police said Javier Cardenas, 30, abducted the woman early Wednesday morning. He remains at large and police are now searching for him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
