‘Terrified’: Apparent ‘Peeping Tom’ in Pembroke Pines

A possible “Peeing Tom” in Pembroke Pines has concerned one family.

A man was caught on camera pacing back and forth in the backyard of a Pembroke Pines home. In at least one video, it appears that he looks through a window.

The homeowner said the man’s shown up at least three times – always at about 10:30 p.m.

“There’s like a pattern every day at the same time,” a family member said. “Not sure what his intentions are, but it’s just not normal.”

The latest apparent incident occurred Saturday. The family, already aware of the activity, received an alert on their phone and they smacked a window to scare him away.

“My mom was terrified. She couldn’t sleep. She was just looking at her cell phone and her cameras all the time, nervous,” a family member said.

The residents believe the man lives in the same neighborhood. They hope police can put an end to the situation.

“I do have children. You know, I’m afraid for my children. I’m afraid that they’re going to do something to my parents while I’m away,” a family member said.
