Thieves on Bicycles Robbed Miami-Dade Dollar Store: Police

Authorities are searching for a pair of bicycle-riding thieves who they say robbed a dollar store in northwest Miami-Dade.

The robbery happened back on December 3 at the store at 2161 Northwest 79th Street when the two suspects entered and started filling bags with merchandise and walked past the cashiers without paying, Miami-Dade Police said.

The suspects pushed the store manager as they were exiting the store then threatened him with a knife and a can of mace outside the store, police said. The suspects fled the scene on their bicycles.

Police said the store manager was injured. The incident was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
