A 15-month old toddler was killed Monday morning when he was struck by a car while playing in the driveway of his Palm Beach County home.

NBC affiliate WPTV-TV reports the incident took place off Amaryliss Avenue in Pahokee just after 9:30 a.m. when the child, identified as Tremain Milian, was struck.

According to the driver, who has not been identified, he felt a bump and heard yelling before seeing Milian under the passenger side of the car.

Milian was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No charges have been filed, but officials continue their investigation to see if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the incident.
