The Miami Beach Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run in which a tourist was struck and is in critical condition.

The incident occurred at 20th Street and Liberty Avenue at about 4 a.m. A white male aged from 35 to 45 was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

The injured victim has not yet been identified.

Investigators are looking for a blue Hyundai possibly involved that fled the scene.
