Tropical Depression Emily will continue to move away from the coast and pass well east of the Carolinas over the next 2 days. The storm is currently a tropical depression and is forecast to remain that before transitioning to a non-tropical low over the Atlantic. It continues to move northeast close to 15 mph so will be out of range of weather radars by this afternoon. There will still be a good bit of activity here but it will not be associated with Emily.
