Tuesday starts wtih traffic carnage for northbound and southbound commuters

A multi-vehicle crash is causing massive delays Tuesday morning on Florida’s Turnpike.

For those coming north from South Miami-Dade, the wreck with a rollover around Southwest 152nd Street exit blocked four lanes for a while and still adds an hour to the usual automotive slither from the south.

For those coming south toward downtown out of Broward County or North Miami-Dade, a predawn Interstate 95 crash near the State Road 112 Airport Expressway took out the express lanes back to Northwest 62nd Street.

While both crashes have cleared, traffic repercussions will still be felt for a while.
