A recent re-emergence of the measles, thought to have originated in California with unvaccinated children, has rekindled the national debate over mandated vaccinations. Is it a parent’s right to defer or refuse vaccinations? Is it unethical to pressure parents into vaccinating their children when they are uncomfortable doing so?
