In September, Pope Francis will be traveling to both Cuba and the United States after having mediated talks between the two countries leading to President Obama’s removal of cold war sanctions. This raises questions about the Vatican’s role in America foreign policy and its influences in the transformation of Cuba. What can we hope will come from the pope’s visit?
