Who was the woman run over over multiple times on I-95? Family mourns her ‘loving nature’

A woman who was run over multiple times on Interstate 95 has been identified by family and friends as 33-year-old Jennifer St. Clair of Fort Lauderdale.

How the woman’s body got on the highway, just south of Atlantic Boulevard in Pompono Beach, is still a mystery.

“My beautiful sister-in-law suffered a tragic and unexpected death on I-95,” wrote St. Clair’s sister-in-law, Ashley St. Clair, on Facebook. “She was a loving caring friend, niece, sister, cousin, daughter, and granddaughter whose life was taken way too soon.”

According to Miami Herald news partner CBS4, several drivers accidentally ran over St. Clair multiple times at around 1:30 a.m. Friday. Some drivers stopped and stayed at the scene, and others kept driving.

The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating.

“Her laugh and smile could light up any room,” Ashley St. Clair said. “We will treasure the joyful passion for life that she shared with all of us. Her free spirit and loving nature will help guide us for years to come.”
