Woman arrested for fatal hit-and-run that killed a tourist

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for the fatal hit-and-run that killed a tourist in Fort Lauderdale.

Regina Goodrich was arrested for failing to remain at an accident involving death on Thursday, according to jail records.

At about 6:30 p.m. July 2, Miguel Soler, 58, who was standing outside his vehicle in the 2900 block of East Las Olas Boulevard, was killed when a car slammed into him.

Goodrich turned herself in and pleaded not guilty, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS 4.

Goodrich was also charged on two other counts for failure to use due care.
